Boo Boo / Zoey link

Today is the one year anniversary of Zoey dieing peacefully from a heart attack. It is also the day Boo bOo was borned into this world. Out goes the cat, in comes the dog.

Also born this day, in 1887 was Boris Karloff (no relation to Mullkoff) and Grocho Marx in 1888. That will be an easy one to remember.
Passing on this day, of AIDS, in 1991 was 46 year young Freddy Mercury - lead singer of Queeeeeeen!

This is also the night of annual relative deprogramming. Jamming and ripping a few with the lads.
but first a day of work, duty to mother (mothra) and acquiring bottles of mass consumption.

At team meeting today we digressed to the "I like to watch" realm of television and what events over the weekend touched us, if even ever so briefly. Everything from CPAN2 Book Tv to southpark.

Also I note the boss has been reading same author as me (shep Nuland.) But the real story is in what is not said. avoiding the stepping on of other's toes or the putting of one's foot in selfsame mouth.

Notified today by Classmates that there is a 30th anniversay shindig at the Dearborn Hyatt next November. So I follow kinks to Livonia Public Schools and then to Yahoo Groups. So I join the yahoo group as number 10 and low Brent Bassett is a member at large.

This is the week of Thanksgiving. Boo boo turns one year old on Wednesday (unofficially) and jamming at the Ferndale beirgarten hoees to include a christmas song for Richard's lump of coal and a final rendition of Girl I left Behind. Decision must be made on February Ski trip with Leo koivunen and friends.

Lastly - an intervention with Brother Terry about doing the right thing for / with Mom. The law of diminishing returns is upon us.

As I randomly search the social network that is Blogger or LiveJournal, etc. I will begin to blog, back track and subscribe to various interesting writers. or feeds. developing my own Linked In associates.

Also I seek to translate different languages using babel fish and other free services and sites.

First Postings

this is the beginning of my third blog. One is just a book diary that I'm using to keep track of the stuff I read and it's impact on my phantom colon.
the other is a work / group / team blog that i ssupposed to archive and track our collaborative nature.
this is a combination of two loves. gypsy swing music and ukulele evangelism.
I will try and include pictures and diagrams of instruments and songs with some exploration into the harmonics of a ukulele quartet. i also play the violin, mandolin, guitar, etc. so those asides may find their way into occassional postings
